My Work
Some of the films I have produced in my time at University.

Offline (2011)

Welcome to Dogs Trust (2012)

One man tries to get to his first day of a new job, but finds himself trapped in a world dependent on technology. I was the writer and assistant director.

A day in the life of a Dogs Trust centre, showing what the people there do to care for abandoned dogs. I assisted on location and was the editor for this film.

LAMP (2012)

A Shop in December (2012)

My first film where every element was achieved by myself, from the story to the animation to the effects and editing. Here, an ordinary lamp, stuck inside, dreams of a better life.
Ali is fired from his job just before Christmas, and struggles to resolve the issues at work before he leaves. As well as directing this film, I adapted it from an original script and composed the film's score.

Cameraman (2012)

A short effects film about the man who lives inside a camera, getting the real work done. I achieved this film through the use of Adobe After Effects

Many Happy Returns (2013)

Sophie's parents prepare to celebrate her birthday. I was the director for this film.

Light of Moon (2013)

One man has a month to learn a song before he performs on stage, but has some difficulties. This short film was produced to learn more about post-production techniques. I provided all of my own sound and practiced colour grading and correction through After Effects.

Kites (2013)

Do Not Press (2013)

A boy is left on his own to fly a kite but finds a kindred spirit. I assisted the production and the shoot and edited this short film.

Valuable (2013)

A man stumbles across a red button he must never press, and is slowly driven to madness. I assisted  in various areas of production. This film was entered into virgin media shorts 2013.

Connor is a model- making enthusiast. He wiles away the hours painting model planes in solitude. This all changes when he has to look after his niece, Sophie. Forced to re-adjust, Connor starts to question how different the two of them really are. This was my dissertation piece, for which I was the screenwriter, as well as assisting on other duties on-set. The film won five Sparky awards for Direction, Cinematography, Sound, Editing and Best Picture.
